The Taj Mahal is a famous Indian landmark both for tourists and people who live there. It was built in 1653 because Emporer Shah Jahan's wife died while giving birth to his fourteenth child. His wife at the time was his third wife!Construction started in 1632 and the main building was finshed in 1648 but the actully whole building was finished in 1653.

like one pardoned, he becomes free from sin.
should a sinner make his way to this mansion,
All his past sinsare to be washed away.
The sight of this mansion create sorrowing sighs;
And the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes.
in this world edifice has been made;
to display thereby the creaters glory.''
