Welcome to our blog!

Komodo Dragon Base pulled South Africa out of our World Cup draw - which means we have taken on South Africa as our learning journey this half term.

Not only will we be focusing on the World cup and tracking South Africa's progress, but we will also be learning through International Arts week, Nelson Mandela and why people in different countries were and are treated differently.

Keep you eyes peeled on our blog as lots of exciting things will be happening!

This week in Komodo dragon Base, we have been really busy with our production! We had our dress rehursal on Wednesday and the result was great!  Everyone knew their lines and words and parents, pre-school and KS1 all came to watch and it made us all ready and rearing to go for Thursday and Fridays performance!  Thursdays performance was amazing to!  The hall was PACKED full of people who had come to watch!  It was a sucess to be proud of and afterwards, everyone was buzzing with the all the excitement!  Mr Lavis gave thanks to the teachers, performers and the G.R.O.T.S chorus!  Cakes were sold to rase money and two children came round with buckets to collect money also for the WWF fund who let us perform One Planet Future!
