Welcome to our blog!

Komodo Dragon Base pulled South Africa out of our World Cup draw - which means we have taken on South Africa as our learning journey this half term.

Not only will we be focusing on the World cup and tracking South Africa's progress, but we will also be learning through International Arts week, Nelson Mandela and why people in different countries were and are treated differently.

Keep you eyes peeled on our blog as lots of exciting things will be happening!

Archery

At Little Canada, this was the greatest activity ever!!! None of us have ever done it before which made it more fun for all of us! As we entered the tent, we realised that there were holes in the tent due to the arrows hitting it!

We then saw the aiming boards which got us all excited as it was all new to us. The instructor then taught us how to use them and then let us have a go, it was so cool! Almost all of us got it into the bulls eye but even the ones who didn't get it into the bulls eye got it pretty close! When we had finished we all wanted to have another go! Also we got points for some games that we did and my team lost by one point! I have to say that this was an amazing activity and one that we will never forget or how to do as it is simple and easy to do (Although the bows are almost as big as us!)
