Welcome to our blog!

Komodo Dragon Base pulled South Africa out of our World Cup draw - which means we have taken on South Africa as our learning journey this half term.

Not only will we be focusing on the World cup and tracking South Africa's progress, but we will also be learning through International Arts week, Nelson Mandela and why people in different countries were and are treated differently.

Keep you eyes peeled on our blog as lots of exciting things will be happening!

Little Canada 2010

I had loads of fun at Little Canada, it was really cool! I enjoyed everything we did, well almost everything (canoeing.) I enjoyed the other activity paired with canoeing though, the kayaking was really fun and you got your own boat to control yourself.

My favourite activity of them all was Jacobs ladder because you got a real sense of achievement when you got to the top! (which I amongst a lot of other people did!) This isn't me but this is what it's like.
It's pretty high up when you're at the top and I found it quite scary up there! There were three jobs to do there was the obvious one climbing, the less obvious one b-laying were you tighten the rope for the climber and tailing were you have to hold the rope and keep it in a smiley face. You had to were lots of gear to go up there helmets, bottom harnesses, top harnesses, screw gate clips ,flip flop gate clips and safety ropes! That's a lot of equipment!

This is just my favourite there's loads more activities:
  1. Canoeing and kayaking
  2. inside climbing
  3. zip wire
  4. aqua fun
  5. dragon boating
  6. abseiling
  7. archery
  8. team games
ENTs (Evening Activities):
  1. generation game
  2. disco
  3. passport to the world (my team won the Falcon hunters)
