Welcome to our blog!

Komodo Dragon Base pulled South Africa out of our World Cup draw - which means we have taken on South Africa as our learning journey this half term.

Not only will we be focusing on the World cup and tracking South Africa's progress, but we will also be learning through International Arts week, Nelson Mandela and why people in different countries were and are treated differently.

Keep you eyes peeled on our blog as lots of exciting things will be happening!

Jewellery made out of Clay.

On Tuesday 14th June 2010 Year 6 Made Zulu tribe jewellery out of Clay! First we played around with the clay followed by making coils! It was a fantastic day
everyone had fun,and no one moaned about their clay! Even though some of the clay was a bit
dry.

Soon after we got to make our jewellery,it was very hard because every time you went to roll it,it all cracked and you would have to start again. although there was a good side to this because in the end it turned out Perfect!
See what I mean by they turned out perfect!
