Judy Garland Biography.

Francis Ethel Gumm, also known as Judy Garland had a thrilling life. Full of fame and fortune, her forty-seven years were what people everywhere may think amazing... but were they? Ups and downs bothered her short life... It ended in a tragic accident - a drug overdose! More infomation (including thrils and spills!) are featured in this offical biography of Judy Garland. Read on to uncover everything...

Fame:

In 1938 Judy was given the lead in a new film - The Wizard of Oz! She played the character 'Dorothy Gale' at the age of just 16! This film was extremely successful around the world - was this where it all began?

A year later, fame carried on as she cast her hands and footprints outside the Grauman's Chinease Thearte in October, 1939. Just a year after the Wizard Of Oz!

The Judy Garland Show:

The Judy Garland show was purely for entertainment. It was on channel 'CBS' and she had 26 episodes - on weekly. It ran from: September 19th 1963 to March 29th 1964. She had celebrity guests and comedians to bring joy to her viewers every week - apperently it was a great show!

Thank you for reading this short peek of my biography of Judy Garland! I hope you enjoyed reading it!
